Malaysia is the place to be for food. I really think I have gained about 2 kilos since I have been here. I have a whole new respect for Indian food. I have never tasted food like this. They have got it going on. All of us (pat, Shannon, and I) will eat and are stuffed and we all still want more Roti (Imagine a tortilla mixed with a crepe that tastes 10x better). You get a Roti and Dahl on side which is dipping curry. I want one just thinking about but I can't eat any more cause I just ate one. We have not tried any other food because all we want is Roti.

I did try some of the Tandori Chicken which is baked in the tandori pictured above and below.

Here is Naan bread being baked inside the tandori. I am telling you the naan bread at Trader Joe's has got nothing on this. You can be rest assured that I will be looking for a restaurant that serves this asap when I get back to the states.

There is the Naan bread in all its glory. Just look at, still hot and puffy right out of the tandori with the fresh garlic on it. A bit of curry dahl on the side. I mean really what else would you want to eat right now? I think I might go get some. I'll be back in 10.

Here is a crispy Roti, I do not recommend this one. I had to give it a go and plus I am only out 30 cents so I can live with that.

I may need some of this later tonight. Alcohol is very expensive in a Muslum country because no one drinks it except tourist.

Only in Asia will you find an entire book store dedicated to selling Animation books.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Roti. mmmmmm. My mouth is watering right now. I'll be back in 10.

Lets Tour Malaysia!
Budda
First stop was a buddist temple which was cool to see. They have active members of I guess they call it the church and when I hit one of the drums, they let me know that you can not do that. Why are they leaving them out if you are not allowed to play with them.

We then went to the Rose Center here in Cameron Highlands. It was alright nothing to brag about. Lots of hanging plants.

I did get fresh with Snow White while I was at the Rose Center.

From the top view point.

They really like fairy tales here for one reason or another and there was an old woman who lived in a shoe.

The tour guide then took us to a strawberry farm. I got a milk shake, that was the highlight.

We then ventured over to the BOH tea plantation. Yup, you guessed it they make tea.

Me with Teh.

uh yeah.

Then we went to a Honey bee farm. LAME.

We then went to an insect zoo. This was really cool. I have never seen anything like this.

I know by now you are wondering what my sweater says. "I opened up a can of good boy" and "his story deeply touching us." I got this for 5 ringgit in K.L. well worth it since it is really cold up here in the mountains.

Grasshopper.

Grasshopper.

Scorpion.

Patrick with butterfly.

I do not have much time on the computer at the hostel. There are only two and lots of folks wanting to us them. I can not wrote my usual amount. I will post again asap.

Hey Homes,

Those are some sweet insects. I would have opted out of holding the scorpion, they are not the friendliest in the insect world.

How is the food in Malaysia???

Hope you are enjoying every last minute!!!

The scenery is beautiful. Snow White use to be one of my favorite characters. I will look at her completely differently now.
Keep having fun!
Love, Mom
