Today was the first day that I actually got to go to an Olympic Event. This is as incredible as you can imagine. Thousands of people cheering on their country. Everyone thinking that I am Canadian because I am covered in Canadian Apparel to cheer on Matt.

Here is one of the many taxi cab drivers which I just attempt to say Mandarin phrases to from my iphone. I think some of them strongly dislike it and others enjoy it. It is always fun either way. The language barrier is so bad I take photos of EVERYTHING in case I ever need to get back some where. Here a picture is worth no words but it is worth you not getting lost. So far so good.

Emily, Kelsey and I went for some tea. This is like upper class tea not a college beer budget so I do not really even need to say I am not going back.

mmmmm Good tea.

The con artist tea lady.

The tea is EXPENSIVE (20usd) per glass, not worth it but it is cool.

Flower Tea\

Once the flowers had opened up.

This one ripped me off to. They are so nice about it.

Welcome to the Olympics.

My Ticket to get in.

One of the Olympic mascot bears.

Wrestling.

Wrestling.

Shannon's head.

This is my excited face.

Time to raise the flags

After a long day of sitting on my behind it is time for a wholesome meal.

Menu'

Yes, we had Scorpion. Do not order this it is not nearly as good as it looks.

This is one of the signs for the restaurant.

Just follow the ducks to get there.

I just do not have time to post more. You know there are tons and tons of stories to accompany these images but I am just strapped for time. We just go go go here. I can only imagine I am going to crash soon. As soon as I have some down time I will fill in the gaps.

Thanks for all the comments.

Seriously homes??? You ate scorpions? Some may say that you should not touch scorpions when they are alive, but why would you want to play with them when they are dead?
Every day at work I check your website and all of my coworkers gather around to see your great pics and read of your adventures. Lots of replies goin on for the scorpions.
I'm sure being at the wrestling match was awesome!!!
Wish I could be there. Enjoy Bejing and the Olympics for all!!!
