I just wanted to let everyone know that I am alive. Just experienced 5 days in a typhoon on an island with ZERO communication to the outside world. I will post again later to share my experiences in Boracay.

Just read up on Typhoon Fengshen. Did you know that it was coming? Are you going to be able to get back to Manila? I don't know if it is safe for you to fly or ride on a ferry.
I just saw a picture of a person in Manila wading in water up to his armpits.
Keep the updates flowing!
